FOR SOUL FOOD

Take 1 Hurting soul
Add in 1 cup of gentleness
6 cups of love from your heart.
3 heaping teaspoons of happiness
Mix in Gods wonderful grace.
Add 3 large cups of servanthood,
Sprinkle on plenty of compassion.
4 full cups of joy,
Dash with Gods mercy.
Be sure to add in plenty of prayer.
Tears may be needed.
Be sure to add in much
of Gods praise as you would like.
Top it off with the power of
The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost.

Turn up the fire of the Holy Spirit.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Remove all hindering spirits.
Stir in plenty of Gods peace.
Do not add in any impatience.
Leftovers may be saved for future use.
You may have as many helpings as you would like,
as long as you share it with someone special.
You will not find a better recipe for soul food!

"On My Knees"

When I am worried and
I don't know quite what to do.

I fall down on my knees,
and I call upon You.

I tell You all about,
the troubles that I go through each day.

And I ask you dear Lord,
Will you please show me the way?

Lord when I try to do things my way,
things always seem to fail.

And then I rembember the sacrifice that You made,
for in Your hands were the nails.

In Your hands You held the keys to my deliverence,
for You let them nail You to the cross.

And if You had never hung there,
my soul would have for sure been lost.

So here I am on my knees,
and I just wanted to say thank You.

For all of the love that You have given me,
and all of the wonderful things that You do.

Lord I just want to give You the praise,
Jesus Your love that is so divine.

You intoxicate me with Your love,
for Your love is better than the finest of wine.

For the wine that You give,
is so holy and so and so pure.

And with the fragrance of Your love,
You know just how to allure.

So I give my whole life to You Jesus,
for it is You alone that I want to please.

And if that means meeting You here each and every day,
You will find me right here on my knees.

Jesus is coming soon

Lord as we look around,
we can see the signs of the times.

Sin and lust are everywhere,
Lord there's so much crime.

You said in your Word,
that there would be famines across the land.

So many souls are going to be lost,
if the we don't take a stand.

Lord we know that you are coming,
and it happen at any time.

Sinners need to give there lives to you,
or they are going to be left behind.

Lord you said in your Word,
that this is the way it would be.

Men would be lovers of themselves,
but they are going to bow their knee.

You said that there would be earthquakes,
Poverty and war.

People living any kind of way,
Your Holy Word they do ignore.

But I know that you are coming,
and this is without a doubt.

We will hear the sound of a trumpet,
your mighty angel shout.

Dear Lord I ask you,
What are we going to do?
I will do my best to do my part,
to point them back to you.

If I were you I'd ask Jesus,
into your heart today,

Satan wants to steal your soul,
don't let it be said too Late!

Karen is a sister who has been blessed with many talents. She is married to a pastor and knows her bible.
