"Friends Are Friends Forever"
A friend is a friend forever.
They'll ignite a flame of love
And set your heart aglow,
And light up your life
From your head down to your toe.
A faithful friend is always there
To lend a helping hand.
They'll be there to defend your honor
And take a firm or gentle stand.
When you least expect it,
They may drop in to say,
"Hello, how have you been?
I love you with all my heart,
My true and special friend."
A friend will add beauty to you're life,
Like a sweet scented flower.
A good conversation may last into the night
Or for many, many, hours.
They will take time to stop and listen,
When you're life is in doubt.
That's what a good friend's love is all about.
A hug, a smile, a tear, or a gentle touch;
These are the things a forever friend will say and do.
For, they love you forever
and always, so very very much.

Jesus will be your friend forever if only you will
open your heart and let His love enter in.
"Jesus is Our Lifeline to Heaven"
When our life is sinking and
We don't know where to start,
Jesus throws us a life jacket
and He will never ever depart.
When you are tired and weary
And you forget to trust,
And there's no one to turn to,
and you feel nothing but disgust ...
God throws you an anchor
And He will reel you in,
If only you open up your heart
And welcome Him in.
All He ever asks is to let go of all our sin.
"Jesus, I will follow You to that pearly gate.
I'll sin no more, honor and obey, and forget all the past,
And never again will I hate.
I'm on my way to victory
And my ship is sailing high.
To my past and all its dark side,
I will say, "Goodbye."
For, God will always be with me
And, when He comes to get me,
My life line will be with Him,
In Heaven's golden sky.

"The Simplicity of Jesus"
He lived the life of a simple man
While traveling here, on earth.
He taught about the baptism
Of the Holy Spirit and your rebirth.
He healed the lame, sought the lost,
And changed the woman at the well.
He, also, taught there's a heaven
And there's a hell.
He healed the leper and
Cast out all that was unclean.
He left us His word and put it in our Holy Bible
For us to learn and, on it, to always lean.
He taught us to give alms to the poor
And it's better to give then to receive.
On His faith and trust you can stand
And, in Him, forever to believe.
He taught us to pray to our Father,
"Hallowed be Thy Name."
For, on this earth, He came to give;
Never to recognize fortune or fame.
He lived the life of a simple man,
No fancy clothes or frills.
Just a loin cloth was His garb.
To Him it was no big deal.
He showed His disciples how to trust
And where to keep their eye.
They could have walked on the water, too,
If on His trust they would rely.
He lived the life of a simple man.
Let harmony and love abide.
He'll be there with His warm embrace
And touch your heart, down deep inside.
Our Lord was a simple man,
So easy to understand;
If we would just be quiet and listen
To what He is telling us.
