This is poetry that has been written through the hands of the Poets at, "Taking The Net For Christ." We write one stanza each and then pass the poem on to the next Poet. We call them our add on poems and we are all learning to do this together. As soon as a poem is completed, the person who started the last poem moves to the end of the line and the next Poet in line starts the next poem. It is something that we enjoy doing as a group and hope you will enjoy reading them.
When You Do Know God
When you do know God...
You will know true peace...
But when you do know God...
Your trials in life will not cease.
Nothing on this earth...
Can ever come against,
God of the universe,
Who will be at your defense.
He is with you night and day...
To guide you all the way.
No matter what you face...
He will bless you by His grace.
He longs to dwell with you
In fellowship and prayer,
As tenderly He shows
His faithful, loving care.
His mercies come each morning
They will come so fresh and new:
Great strength He will bring
And all He'll see you through.
Whatever trouble may assail.
Of this we can be sure.
God's promises can never fail,
They always will endure.
When He lives within you
You will know no fear.
For when He lives within you...
You'll be filled with joy and cheer.
Yes, when you do know God,
You know your road's been paved,
Towards the gates of heaven
And that your soul's being saved!

Religion Or
Salvation?
A well-tuned phrase and words that rhyme
Can give us inspiration.
Yet nothing but the word of God,
can bring us His Salvation.
You can search high and low.
You can search the earth,
But until you ask Jesus in,
Will you know... what Salvation's worth!
Jesus Christ is the Lord of all.
Through Him we are redeemed.
No other path will ever do this
No matter how good... it may seem.
The way is simple to understand;
Even a child can enter in;
It Is the message of the cross,
To free us from all our sin.
When things seem to go wrong,
We tend to lose control.
But, with the help of Jesus
We will always be on the roll.
Salvation beats religion cause..
religion is spread around to score..
But if Jesus is the center of your life..
It doesn't matter what name is over the door..
