THE JOY of OUR CHILDREN
Our children are our blessings
They melt our hearts away
When they serve God the Master
When they have found their way
Our children are our blessings
They honor us indeed
When they grow to maturity
When they let Jesus lead
Our children are our blessings
Even when they do wrong
We cannot help but love them
Their souls we ever long
Our children are our blessings
What joy what peace what love
When childlike faith begins to grow
God smiles from above
Our children are our blessings
We carried them from birth
They'll be our blessings and our joy
As long as they're on earth.

Carry No Burdens
Carry no burdens upon your back
Release them unto the Lord
Take them to prayer and then leave them there
Seal them with God's precious Word
Carry no burdens upon your back
Present them then turn around
Look not upon them as pillars of salt
Don't let them bear you down.
Instead of the load, blessed be to the one
Who will hold you and lift you up
The one who will cover you 'neath his wings
The one who will carry your cup
Carry no burdens upon your back
Let God lift that heavy weight
His mercy and grace are yours when you ask
Availing His heavenly gate
Your labors are laden and oxen borne
But they belong to the Lord
Take them to prayer take them straight to His throne
Seal them again with His Word
Carry no burdens then just believe
That God has complete control
If you'll give them to Him with 'nary a thought
You'll know he has hold of your soul.

WE ARE NOT ALONE
We sit beside our smoldering fire
And stare at the slow, burning embers
We listen to the rhythm of the sprinkling rain
And gaze out our tear-stained windows.
But we are not alone
Our Father God is near.
The fire gentle covers with a blanket of its warmth.
The raindrops send a peaceful melody.
And God comforts us with His presence.
