When He Should Have Thrown His Arms In The Air
Said That He Was Through With Me
And That He Didn't Care.

There's Been So Many Times
When He Should Have Turned His Back,
Walked Away From Me And Said
I Do Not Care What You May Lack.

There's Been So Many Times
When He Should Have Just Refused.
He Should Have Given Up On Me
Because Of All I Did Abuse,

But Instead He Stays Right Here
Right Here By My Side.
Right Here He'll Always Be
With His Arms Opened Wide.

There's Been So Many Times
When He Should Have Yelled At Me,
But Instead I Heard A Whisper 
And His Grace Only Did I See

There's Been So Many Times
When I Have Let Him Down.
He Should Have Walked Away,
But Instead He Stood His Ground.

There Is No One Like Him
No Where On This Earth.
His Love And Understanding,
Oh What It Is Worth!

There's Nothing That Can Ever
Compare To The Patients He Does Show.
There's Been So Many Times,
But For Sure I Now Do Know,

That He's Love For Me
Is Stronger Than The Wrong I Do.
Yes, He Should Have Walked Away,
But Instead... I Always Hear... My Child... How I Love You!
