Proverbs 22:6..Matthew 7:24-27..
Ephesians 6:18..
The wake-up call has already been sounded
in the wake of the Columbine, Paduka and other
school shootings that have happened in recent days.
Those of the world seek worldly solutions to these
problems but we that are born of God must seek
Godly solutions to them. Our worldly system has
taken prayer out of school, condone teen abortions,
promote safe sex teachings and freely allow porn
to float unopposed on the internet for those young
eyes and then scratch their heads and wonder why
our children do what they do.Though we Christians
can not control what the world decides to do, we
can control what our children do and how we raise
them. We need to get our houses in order and claim
back those young lives that Satan has quietly
stolen over the years. We parents will be held
responsible for those young souls before the throne
of God and we're running out of time to do anything
about it.. Time to get busy Parents.
GENERATION X
A lost generation, the world has said,
our children wear a hex.
And hope is all but gone today,
for this Generation X.
Children carrying guns to school,
and killing just for kicks.
But prayer is dead, the courts have said,
as the time bomb slowly ticks.
In their pocket lays a bag of grass,
in their pipe a rock of crack.
And that alcohol binge, does their conscience singe,
that they've jumped the chosen track.
Drugs are used to soothe the pain,
and sex to feel again.
While little girls will sell themselves,
to dirty, filthy men.
Teen suicide is on the rise,
as we look the other way.
And the lifestyle they are choosing now,
is leaning toward the gay.
Kool-aid is not the drink of choice,
but now a nice cold bud.
They keep falling down, but no ones around,
to hear the awful thud.
While the internet keeps pumping porn,
into those youthful brains.
And Larry Flint, is hell bound bent,
to wear those sinful stains.
So this generation that is lost,
is lost because we're blind.
We keep looking for a miracle cure,
but dead kids are all we find.
There is a miracle lurking about,
if you'll open up your eyes.
This cure is called the Lamb of God,
who hears your children's cries.
He's waiting there with open arms,
with forgivness and with Love.
And healing for their broken hearts,
with mercy from above.
But we parents need to wise on up,
and get back in control.
And train our children in His ways,
and claim that precious soul.
There are certain steps we now must take,
starting first with us.
We must take our savior off the shelf,
and put him on the bus.
Our children watch our every step,
so be careful where you walk.
And their little ears, like a radar hears,
so be careful how you talk.
We're examples with our very lives,
cause monkey sees and does.
If you don't teach, those kingpins reach,
and love them with a buzz.
So get your life back right with God,
be examples to your flock.
And this time build your house up strong,
on that precious Holy Rock.
And though the winds and rain will come,
you know your house will stand.
Cause as you know, a house will go,
that's built on sinking sand.
Put prayer back in our public schools,
and vote those leaders out.
And demand from Satan, all your kids,
with a Hallelujah shout.
Then pray the Blood of Jesus Christ,
on your children all the more.
Then stand aside, with that Christian glide,
and watch Jesus fight the war.

Proverbs 20:1.....1 Corinthians 6: 19&20
"Let's Get High", is definitely the
closest to my heart. This poem was my first and was
given to me directly after the Lord
delivered me from a life of drugs and alcohol.
I found that the drugsI use to do, can't come
close to comparing to the "High" I get from
serving the Lord! The best part is, when you get
High on Jesus, you never experience hang-overs,
D.T.s, or flashbacks.Praise The Lord!
"LET'S GET HIGH"
My body numb, my mind was blank,
the drugs I smoked, they smelled so rank.
This world of mine, had reached an end,
the drugs I did, were my best friend.
Then Jesus said, "Give me a try,
come walk with Me, and let's get high."
But the only high I'd ever known,
was artificial, just on loan.
"It's just a lie, the proof you'll see,
throw down those drugs, get high on Me."
"The drugs you do, they make you blind,
you search for answers, you'll never find."
"For surely with the drugs you use,
your life will cease, and you will lose."
"The high you need, you can not buy,
partake of me, and you'll never die!"
I made a move that darkened day,
to give up drugs, to stay away.
The inner peace, for which I'd looked,
I found in Christ, and I was hooked!
The drugs we take, they can not please us,
if you want life, get high on Jesus!

I have often sat and thought of the lives
that were touched through the letters that Paul
wrote. In his letters he told of the Christ
and how to be saved. He told them how they should
conduct themselves and how to live for Christ
So many other things too were shared through the
letters Paul wrote. These letters inspired me to
write a letter myself to someone I didn't know
and share the Gospel with them. This one is not
Romans or 1 Corinthians, but simply..
"A Letter To A Friend."
"A LETTER TO A FRIEND"
Greetings to you friend,
I hear your down and out.
Don't feel alone, I've been there too,
I know what your about.
Your life just seems so useless,
no feeling left inside.
You want to run away from it,
but there's no where left to hide.
You have friends but still you're lonely,
you have family, but yet alone.
A life so cold and empty,
such as no one's ever known.
You've tried everything you know,
to get someone to listen.
you've tried drinking, drugs, and sex,
but still there's something missing.
You feel your looking in,
on an outward cry of pain,
hoping that the sun would shine,
but you still get pouring rain.
You feel like giving up,
to end the grief you suffer.
But believe me when I tell you,
it will only make things rougher.
But I'll share a little secret,
that will help you make it through,
but remember when I tell you this,
I once felt just like you.
The secret that I found,
goes back so many years,
it can take away your lonliness,
it can wipe away your tears.
My secrets name is Jesus,
He died for you and me,
and suffered greatly for our sins,
so we could both be free.
See, God sent down His Son,
so whoever would believe,
that Jesus was the Son of God,
-life ETERNAL- they'd recieve.
So these lonely empty feelings,
that freqently do seize us,
are due to living out our lives,
without the Savior,Jesus.
There's nothing hard about it,
just follow me in prayer,
invite the presence of the Lord,
and He too will be there.
Say, 'Jesus I'm a sinner,
I'm lonely and I'm lost,
I understand You love me,
and paid the highest cost.
Even though I am not worthy,
forgive me of my sin.'
'I believe You are my Savior,
come dwell and live within.'
'You died upon the cross,
so I could be brand new.'
'And with this precious gift you gave,
I now die unto You.
'I will serve You now forever,
be my master and my friend,
take me underneath Your wing,
let Your Spirit now decend.'
'My life from this day forward,
will shine to all around,
and spread the news of Jesus,
the secret that I found. - Amen'
A letter from a friend,
it helped me find a way,
it showed me there's a reason,
to live another day.
I think I'll write a letter,
to someone gone astray,
write to them that someone cares,
and start it out this way.
Greetings to you friend,
I hear your down. and out,
don't feel alone, I've been there too,
I know what your about...

"Sharing My Gift" Christian Poetry
Out surfing the web like I so often do, I came across
Timothy's wonderful site. I was so excited when I found him and fell
in love with his work. You will find many more wonderful peices of
Tim's on his site with messages for all ages. The reason for
displaying these three is quite simple. They are very much needed
for our young poeple of today! I hope you enjoyed his work as much
as I do!
